I had corruption problems on a Nikon camera compact memory card. Kingdom Data Recovery recovered all my photos [144 photos] very efficiently and very quickly indeed, returning me all the photos by Recorded Delivery return post on a DVD, simple then to download onto my computer. I also had sensible and helpful phone calls from them. Whether or not the £99 they charged is good value and "fair" or not I have no idea - it seems expensive but perhaps that's unfair. The whole Data Recovery industry is full of scams & con-people - just try Google for ENDLESS horror- stories but Kingdom Data Recovery seemed very good indeed - so long as their £99 price turns out in reality to be "right" and reasonable. Very surprisingly indeed they don't take credit cards - always a worry and a warning - but their entire service did in fact turn out to be VERY good indeed.

I managed to damage my daughter's hard drive by reverse connecting the power supply whilst the power was on. I then took a soldering iron to the PCB to try and repair it and destroyed that along with the heads! I called another data recovery company who could not tell me who would be working on my drive and how much it would cost. I selected Kingdom Data Recovery from the reviews on this website and the response that I got from Jason on the phone. This was the right decision; they were open and honest at all times and recovered all of the data. Both Jason and Aynsley were available on the phone and never hesitated in giving a status report. A very thorough and quickly-completed data recovery job, for a lot less than I thought it would be. Great communication, including keeping me updated during bank holiday weekend; prompt realistic management of expectation around whether data was retrieveable or not, they did recover the data in the end and pretty much exceeded my expectations on all fronts in terms of keeping me informed/dropping off & collecting when arranged and being easy and pleasant to deal with.

Whilst their service was extremely professional - my data was with them from 17 Dec 2010 - 20 Jan 2011. I found that recovery was expensive (£412 incl. VAT) especially for a small business.
