How do I list my business on ITProfessionals.co.uk?
All you have to do is go to the Add Your Business page on the site. From there you are asked to register whereby an account will be created for you and your username and password emailed to you. Once registered you can login and start adding your business details using our Profile Manager.
What governs the order in which my listing appears on ITProfessionals.co.uk?
The listings on ITProfessionals.co.uk are ordered by a rating and by any upgrade options you choose.
How do I get rated on ITProfessionals.co.uk?
Once logged in you can ask your clients for feedback on the services you provide. Your client will be asked to rate you based on some simple questions which determines your rating. If they don’t rate you, you don’t get a rating.
How do I get feedback on my business?
Once logged in, you can ask your clients to provide feedback on the services your business provides on the Feedback tab of the Profile Manager.
What upgrade options are there for my business profile on ITProfessionals.co.uk?
As well as getting ratings from your clients you can also provide a link from your website to ITProfessionals.co.uk to give you more features on your business profile.
What do you mean by ‘approved’ feedback?
Feedback cannot be entered by the listed business’s themselves. All feedback comes from a business's clients and goes through an approval process by the content team at ITProfessionals.co.uk to ensure the feedback meets our content rules. Any abuse of this process by companies listed on the site will mean their immediate removal.
How does my rating affect the order in which I appear on the sites listings?
The more ratings you provide and the better the average score you get the higher up the listings you will go.
How are ratings calculated?
Your rating is calculated on value for money, professionalism and quality. The average score you get for each of these items forms your overall average rating. For more than one rating, an average is taken for all of the feedback you receive.
Why isn’t a link to my website being displayed?
A link to your website only appears once you have chosen the upgrade option in the Profile Manager. To do so, you need to provide us with a link to ITProfessionals.co.uk on your website.
How do I change the details of my business profile?
You can login at any time and change your business profile and submit it for review to our content team.
How often can I change my business details?
As often as you like. We advise you not to do it every day though as it takes us time to review each submission.
What if I can’t find a relevant category to list my business under?
Email us to let us know what you would like to be listed under.
