TribalVideo was established in 2004 by Steve Smith, an IT professional with over ten years experience working in the industry in positions ranging from systems analysis and design to consultancy and programming. While this gave him and excellent knowledge of computers generally, it did not encompass his love of video and graphics, so in 2004 he resigned from his permanent IT job and pursued a career in the media industry, taking a year out to work on and complete video projects of his own. He currently works full time as a video editor and DVD designer and producer and has worked on a range of projects from editing music videos and shorts to show reels and promotional DVDs for customers nationally and internationally.
