Orchid was established in 1996. The idea behind the business was to offer customers a fresh way of dealing with an IT company.
Orchid currently employ over 40 staff where 45% of those staff are technical, based in Derby with a nation-wide cover. Orchid have a turnover in excess of 10 Million pounds and supply IT products, cabling and services to over 1000 companies. Orchid are skilled in Healthcare, Education, Government, SME, Corporate and Resellers.

Orchid can provide a complete outsourced IT function or offer a support service to companies’ existing IT staff, from building the whole IT infrastructure for a business, to supporting and maintaining that structure with on-site visits, telephone support and dial-in access.
Orchid are also skilled in installing hardware from PDA’s to servers, connecting offices, home workers and field staff, and supporting IT solutions with a comprehensive support package.
