Airedale Computer Reycling Company Profile

Formed in 2001, multi award winning Airedale Computer Reycling is a Computer Recycling and Disposal Charity based in Airedale, Castleford, providing a FREE service to local authorities, emergency services and businesses in and around Yorkshire.

They are fully licensed/exempted by the Environment Agency. All data is sanitised to government standards and they operate a 100% no landfill policy.

Many refurbished computers go to local good causes and others sold at low cost into the community. Training is provided for long term unemployed and practical skills training for students doing IT qualifications in college or university. Work experience placements are available for all the local schools. All profits go to local charity Chrysalis to help provide an alternative education to disadvantaged young people including Basic Motor Mechanics, Basic Building & Construction (and coming soon: Radio Broadcasting).
