Established in 2011, 2getherITworks are Computer Repair specialists based in Deeside, Flintshire.
2getherITworks has been set up to offer a unique service in the Flintshire and Chester area. They are in business to help those over 60's or so called 'Silver Surfers' to offer PC and Laptop tuition, from the very basics (including helping to choose the right pc or laptop for their needs, in order to stop the sales people taking advantage in larger stores), to PC and Laptop repairs at home or use their pick up and return service (small fuel charge if outside 3 mile radius of their office).
Phil Woods, the company owner and founder started this business recently after 17 years in the computer industry. Following on from his personal experiance he looked locally for a service for the over 60's and found there wasn't any help out there. Phil decided it was about time something was done about this and so 2getherITworks was formed.
It may sound like a strange name but it's a simple one and a simple reason for using it. It reads Together IT Works, meaning that despite someones age they can still get onto the internet and use a PC. There are many people over 60 who enjoy using the internet or PC for many reasons. Recently they had a call from an 84 year old who's netbook had stopped working, she uses Skype to contact her grandchildren living abroad.
